Q: Chevrolet Aveo?
Has anyone driven it? Can i get feedbacks? What do you think about it?
I’m looking for cars similar to that, a hatchback.

A: I have a Chevy Aveo and I get approximately 35 miles to the gallon. I drive an hour each day to work and spend no more than $25 per week on gas. I love it for it’s design and efficiency.

I say buy the Chevy Aveo!

I have a 2004 Chevrolet Aveo LS and I would like to know how to reprogram my key less entry remote.
Being only 17 I don’t have enough money to have it fixed at the shop. And it says nothing on how to fix it in the manual.

A: Take all the remotes down to your Chevrolet dealer’s service department (or any GM service department) and they will program it with a TECH2 programmer.

Q: Why does the Pontiac G3 cost more than the Chevrolet Aveo when its the exact same car?
I was considering buying a Chevrolet Aveo as I was looking at one I noticed on the Pontiac lot the same exact car sold as the G3 but it cost a two thousand more dollars than then Aveo when the equipment package was the same.

A: Because it’s a Pontiac. Were it a Buick, you’d pay a couple thousand more than that.

A: with winter coming on I would replace them now if you want to be safe and check on the internet for tire deals as walmart has good deals, tire rack, and even your chevy dealer.

A: Hi,

some information to help you make your own choice…

1. The Chevy Aveo is actually made in South Korea by Daewoo. Chevy purchased a controlling interest in Daewoo so they could have access to their small vehicles.

2. The Yaris incorporates many of the advanced features that are present in higher end Toyotas, including:

a. no steering pump or steering belt (no squealing when you turn a corner after it wears), the Yaris uses electric steering which is much more reliable, weighs less, has fewer parts and fewer moving parts
b. individual fuel injectors for each cylinder with computer control over each cylinder independent of the others (if you get some water in the gas, the system can actually slightly advance or retard the spark in that individual cylinder to clear it)
c.

A: I read somewhere that some people have been successful with 16 inch rims. I dont know if anything larger would be worth it.

A: not a good idea..the car is cheap and not very stable….there are many other better cars in this class….if you want a small car and cheap go with Toyota…i would recommend the Toyota yaris….34/40 mpg..the price starts from $10,480 – $13,525
never breaks down and will never lose its value unlike the Aveo….
you could pay a lil more for Toyota Matrix, Toyota Corolla

Q: Chevrolet Cobalt and Chevrolet Aveo Reviews?
I am thinking of buying a new car and I was looking at the Chevrolet Cobalt or the Chevrolet Aveo. I wanted to know what other people think or if they have had any experience with the car. Any reviews will help. Preferably people who have owned one before.

I am looking for a 4 cylinder car, good gas mileage, not too expensive as I am a college student with a new job, and reliable. Is this a good choice?

A: I have an ‘06 Cobalt Coupe,I love it,gets great gas mileage and I haven’t had any problems other than a couple of things that were recalled and of course they were fixed for free. It’s a pretty cool little car,I say go for it! Good luck with whatever you choose.

Q: Which is a better car – Maruti SX4 OR Chevrolet Aveo?
I want to purchase a Petrol Model car within Rs. 8-9 lakh. My choice is between Mruti’s SX4/ SWift DZire and Chevrolet’s Aveo. My daily commuting requriement is about 20km in city and the car will be mostly be driven by my driver. Reliability and running cost are my major concerns.

A: Overall sx4 is a better car as compared to the other two. it was just upgraded with new engine and few visual changes. ehile dzire is a good car but the rear leg room is a prob and the engine is not adequately powered as the sx4. you can also consider buying honda city base model as the quality and reliability is one of the best.

A: if there are a set of two holes on either side of the radio. either go to a car stereo shop and buy the tool required, or use a metal coat hanger. If it doesn’t have the holes, start taking the molding off from around the unit itself, until you uncover the screws.

Q: What do you think about the Chevrolet Aveo?
I am looking for a very inexpensive, safe, fuel efficient car for my 16 year old daughter. How is the Aveo? Does anyone own one? Do you like it?

A: Its small, but would be good for a new driver. I opted to buy the G6 sedan instead. I purchased it for 15,000 new and I love it! It’s been a great car, came with free on-star for one year which I have already had to use (I locked my two year old daughter in the car oops!). It has great safety features. Sorry I couldn’t tell you about the aveo but if you are looking for a little more room check out the G6.

A: Call up your local auto parts store to verify but, it should be like everything else and take 10w40.

Q: What causes a 2005 Chevrolet Aveo to not start?
My sister called me to say that her car will not start after wanting to leave the store. She says that when she trys to crank it, the engine makes a clicking noise. All lights turn on when she puts the key in, But it just not wants to crank over.

A: Low battery voltage. (most common)
She may have left the lights on……
A simple jump start with “jumper cables” should do the trick.
