Q: How do I connect my i-pod to play in the 2010 Hyundai Accent?
We recently got a new Hyundai Accent. Do we need a special cable to play the iPod in the car’s AUX/USB port?
A: http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2102970&clickid=prod_cs#
This is what you need. It is a double male mini plug. Don’t let them sell you gold plated or anything expensive. This one is all you need.
Q: Dealer Invoice Price 2010 Hyundai accent GL + Advice on buying a new car at a dealership?
Hello, I was wondering if someone would able to tell me the Dealer Invoice Price for a 2010 Hyundai Accent GL. I am going next week to buy one. And I am wondering if anybody has any advice on things to know when going to a dealership. Also is it a good idea to request quotes online from different dealers ?
Thank you in advance for your answers
A: I consider three points of buying a car. Each are geared to determine your purchase price and each should be considered separately. The salesman will attempt to establish the sale price first, but a new car buyer should be aware of the other two elements first. The first one is the interest rate of the loan. If you are able to secure a favorable interest rate prior to your purchase then you will know, before entering the showroom, that you will have a rate that the dealership will have to beat. Give them a chance, because they have many more choices in financing.
The second is trade-in value, should you have a trade in. The Kelly’s Blue Book (available online) will give you a ballpark figure of your trade-in’s worth.
So now if the salesman doesn’t come close to your expectations, it’s time to move on to a dealer that more closely matches your expectations. But if the salesperson seems close or even a bit reluctant, then he/she will be less forgiving on the price.
You should grab as many ads as possible and have them sticking out of your purse (just kidding). Know what you want to pay and offer less, or become a dealer yourself. If the price is above your goal ask for free service from the dealership; oil changes, tire rotations, state inspections come to mind. If you are going to pay more, then ask for more in return. If you have an older car you want to keep, ask for service on that car.
It’s a buyer’s market, in this economy, so use it to your advantage. Remember that if you are reasonable you won’t get thrown out a dealership, so don’t be afraid of wearing the salesperson down. After a deal gets close, excuse yourself to call a friend. You don’t have to talk about buying a car, but it lets the salesman think it over. Remember he/she makes the money while you pay for years.
Here is the tip that is worth the price of admission. When he/she offers something substantial to you that you think is “fair,” remember that there is an old salesperson trick that you can use to your advantage. The person who speaks first, loses. Keep quiet! Look at the figure, the contract, the car, or play with your calculator, but don’t say a word. This is tough, as silence is tough, but if the salesperson speaks first, he/she loses. And you win!!
Good luck!!
Q: is it ok or even necessary to use plus gas in the 2010 Hyundai Accent?
I just bought a 2010 Hyndai Accent 2 door and I if plus gas would really be better than regular gas for this car.
A: No, you don’t need to put anything higher then regular gas in your car. In fact MOST cars don’t need high octane gas, just what the manufacture calls for it. More advanced, higher HP engines or older engines that are starting to ping can benefit from higher octane gas but the reality is that all gas has cleaning agents and additives that will help your car run cleaner. The “Plus” or “Super” connotation just refers to the octane level and is really just a marketing tool to make you THINK you getting better gas, that’s it.
Q: Can anyone tell me what the dealers cost would be on a 2010 Hyundai accent auto?
A: Find out the Dealers COST, I doubt you will be able to find it. Only the dealer and manufacturer knows that and in no part of the world would anybody make that public.
If you want to find out with how much would you be able to buy a 2010 Hyundai Accent auto, you will have to be more specific in what trim level and accessories you want. There are several options and each has his own price tag. You can always negotiate the given price however, not by much. There is not enough mark-up in new vehicles. If you buy a GM or Chrysler you might probably be able to get huge discounts but you get what you pay for…
Good luck
Q: is the 2010 hyundai accent a good car?
my dad is helping me find a car but i need to know if its going to be worth my money to buy something like this.

i just want to know if its worth it and if its a good car. on most of the sites ive been to, theres been mroe cons than pros.
A: Vehicle Highlights
The 2010 Hyundai Accent lineup gains a new low-price model that promises high fuel economy. Accent returns as a 2-door hatchback in GS and SE trims, and as a 4-door sedan in GLS form. New for 2010 is the base Accent Blue, which has equipment levels similar to the GS. The Blue has specific transmission gear ratios and other aerodynamic tweaks that Hyundai says improves highway fuel economy up to 9 percent when compared with other Accent models. The sole engine is a 110-hp 1.6-liter 4-cylinder. A 5-speed manual transmission is standard across the board. A 4-speed automatic is available on all but the Accent Blue. Available safety features include ABS, front side airbags, and curtain side airbags. Power windows and locks and remote entry are optional on the GS and GLS. Accent lends its basic design to the Rio from Hyundai’s Kia division, but Rio differs in features, pricing, and warranty coverage.

Q: How low-end is a 2010 Hyundai Accent GLS?
If you look at the stats, the horsepower isn’t really that great. Just how slow is this car? Is it even worth the buy? I’m just looking for something great on gas, it gets a epa 27/36.
A: It’s about as “fast” as all the other cars in it’s class. If you need it for basic transportation it’s a good car. If you can wait the next generation Accent will get a 140 HP engine and 40 mpg. It looks much better as well. I think it will be out later this year or early next. http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_XEEIzU0UA1M/S9W7YJAovtI/AAAAAAAASZI/QCMNr8RZcNw/s1600/001.jpg A lot of interesting cars will be out in the next couple of years.
Someone said it has a lot of complains but to be honest with you, you will find that most cars will have a bunch of complaints behind them. No one makes a perfect car.
Q: Has anyone ever heard of a key from a hyundai accent being able to open another hyundai and start it?
I just bought a 2010 hyundai accent and my friend took the key to his hyundai accent opened my car door and started to car. I was wondering if that happened to anyone else.
A: My mother in law has a Hyundai accent and didnt realize the car she had wasn’t hers until she got pulled over driving it. Cops said a elderly lady at Walmart reported it stolen and she showed the cops her keys which had a picture of my nad her grandbabies on it and the cops follwoed her back to Walmart and sure enough her car key fit another woman’s accent same as her’s.
Needless to say but she’s returning it to the dealership and dealership is giving her the downpayment back, clean and clear.
Q: is the hyundai accent 2010 good for driving in the snow?
A: Wouldn’t call it good, but just as good as any other FWD car will be in snow. The key to snow driving is ground clearance and having snow tires. Having AWD/4WD of course is the best, but of course only found on more expensive vehicles then the Accent. For about $500-600 you can get a set of winter tires with rims for your Accent, much cheaper then buying an AWD car and much safer then not having the tires.
Q: Approximately, how much does it cost to replace front Grill and front Bumper? (Hyundai Accent 2010)?
I live in Canada and i rented a Hyundai Accent 2010. Upon inspection, the agent noticed a crack in the front grill as well as a Dent/Chunk out of the front bumper. I am assuming that they will replace both the grill and the bumper with new ones.
My question is: what will be the total repair cost? (even a range is highly appreciated).
Unfortunately, the agent and the repair department can’t give me an estimate (even a range) until 2 weeks from now. I need to know a range as soon as possible so i can plan my budget wisely.
A: This is in US dollars
Front bumper lists for $222.07 and the grille for $34.20. Should take about 2.8hrs on the body side and 3.6 for refinish. Usually rental companies have a contract with a body shop at lower rates. If you figure $40 for body and paint and $26 for paint materials, you come up with $605.87 plus tax. They may also add a few charges for flex, haz waste, and color tint time.
Q: I bought a 2010 Hyundai Accent at 25% interest I put $7000.00. I still 0we $22.000.?
. Each monthly payment is $319. I get a lot of OT, so some months I can afford to pay more, others, I can afford just the payment.
I’m wondering if it even helps me. Would I be better off pretending to make the larger payment, and just stick the money in a separate saving account, should I go ahead and actually make the larger payment, should I pay it early in the month, or should I send two different payments in? I’m not sure how the interest calculation works.
The financial site has an amortization schedule, but I’ve only made one payment (with 250 extra dollars) so I don’t really have any empirical information to base my plan on. Can any AI Loan goons give me some tips?
A: pay more each month with a note to put the extra money on the principal
Q: Nissan sunny 2010 or Hyundai accent or nissan tiida?
which one is best … rank it…
A: nissan tiida
Q: Which is more reliable in the long run – the Hyundai Accent or Hyundai Elantra (2010)?
A: i would think the Elantra, as its a more substantial car. but it also depends on how “long” that run is. the Elantra is a good car, as i have one. no problems yet after over 30,000m. i have read good things about the Accent, but longevity in any subcompact might be a concern. also, build quality over the long haul. smaller engines work harder, brakes are not as big, suspensions are cruder, certain parts used may be of somewhat inferior quality. it can take some punishment, i am sure. but how much punishment is anyone’s guess. if i were in the market and had a choice i would get an Elantra. even a low mileage used one (under 15000m) over a comparably priced new Accent. just because its a bigger, somewhat more comfortable car that seems built to last.
look here to read what owners think of their Accent over the last few years. just scroll down a bit to select the model year, as the car has been out awhile and more recent reviews of cars a few years old may give you an indication of how the cars are holding up
http://www.edmunds.com/hyundai/accent/review.html
and do the same for the Elantra
http://www.edmunds.com/hyundai/elantra/2009/index.html
you will see a few very negative reviews about the “ride” of the 2010 Elantra, but they sound biased and written by the same person. you need to judge for yourself, however
also take note, both the Accent and Elantra are to be replaced later this year by all new models. so if you can wait to purchase great deals on the outgoing models can most likely be had
i hope some of this helps you at least a little bit =]
Q: Is $17,300.00 (CANADIAN $$) too much to pay for a new 2010 Hyundai 4 door accent GL model?
A: Its new, you are going to pay about what is asked if you want the car so the price is about as good as your going to get. As far as Hyundai car being bad as other answer, maybe he need to take a good look at Hyundai and find our why they are now getting better reviews than Toyota and Hondas.
Q: Does air intakes hight performance system that runs on hyundai accent 2006 works or fits on accent 2010 ?
brand like AEM, k7N, WR AIR WEAPON, ETC…
A: It should work. The only thing is the same as 2006 in 2010 model is the power train. The body style is completely changed and due to similar engine, I don’t see a problem to have it matched. You’ll have to remove the air filter housing (which is also different from 2006 model), but I guess this doesn’t play much of an important role. Just have it installed and you will enjoy thee few pony’s added on your engine.
Q: Hyundai accent 4 door sedan a good car? Good on gas? Also how much should I pay for 2010 GL model ?
Canadian $$$$$$ please! and thanks!
A: Well the MSRP for the 4-door Accent is $13,645 american dollars.
its good on gas. According to their website the Accent achieves 28 MPG city and 34 MPG highway which is pretty good. I would recommend you t buy it.
