A: no way in hell that the porsche is faster 555 horses to the bmw. that is a true peice of art. go bmw all the way.

Q: Has Porsche discontinued the Cayenne GTS Manual Transmission for 2011?
Porsche has a special version of the Cayenne called the Cayenne GTS. In performance terms is sits between the Cayenne S and the Cayenne Turbo. It is unique in that it comes standard with a manual transmission where the S and the turbo only come in automatic. I dont see the GTS version as being available on the Porsche website.

A: Odd that the S would only come in automatic?
Seems contradictory.
But I also could no longer find GTS references.
I will never buy an automatic as long as I live.

Q: 08 Porsche Cayenne depreciation by 2011?
So our family has been looking to buy a 2008 Porsche Cayenne (or Cayenne S), but I heard about the 2011 model coming out around first quarter of 2010. So obviously since there is a Cayenne with a new look coming out the 08 model will sell for much less, and I was wondering if anyone else agrees with me to just wait until that one comes out so that we don’t have to pay as much for the 08 model?

A: Get the 2008. Who knows what is gonna be wrong with the 2011.

A: If you need the room, it is a good buy.
If you don’t need the room, then one of the other models would handle better.

The year won’t matter that much.
Porsche does not change that much year to year.

And warranty is not a plus.
You pay through the nose for it.
A totally rebuilt engine, such as for a Boxster, is only $6.5k
There are engines that go for much more, but that is not typical.

Can you please tell me which of the follwing cars you would get based mostly on looks (exterior AND interior). That includes GPS, wood trim, exhausts, etc. However I am not going to purchase but lease so judge it based on that. Thanks

A: The X5 – M starts at $85,000 before any options.
The Cayenne is $46,000
The Benz will set you back over $48,000

How do you intend to pay for this vehicle? The cheapest car on the list will set you back $900 a month and that is before you pay for insurance (which will be outrageous for a 25 year old) or put your first drop of fuel in the tank or pay for the $1200 scheduled maintenance appointments.
